Antalya is one of Turkey's fastest-growing cities and the number of dental clinics has grown with it. But having more options does not make choosing easier. The real difficulty is that you cannot tell in advance which clinic actually performs which treatment, who will be open in an emergency, or how your treatment will be planned.

Our clinic is on Sair Adem Dede Street in Muratpasa and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That is not only a convenience for emergencies but a difference in planning: you set the appointment around your own schedule rather than office hours.

This page covers what to look for when choosing a dental clinic in Antalya, which treatments we provide, how a treatment plan is built and which districts we serve.

What to Look for When Choosing a Dental Clinic in Antalya

What matters is not what appears in an advert but what you meet at the first visit.

How the diagnosis is made

Good treatment begins with good diagnosis. An intraoral examination alone is not enough: decay between teeth, infection at root tips, impacted teeth and bone levels can only be assessed radiographically. So the first appointment includes a panoramic radiograph and, where needed, bite-wings — and you are told what is happening in each tooth and why a given procedure is proposed, along with the alternatives.

Is the treatment plan given in writing

For patients needing several procedures a verbal explanation is not enough. Which procedure comes in which order, how many visits it will take and why that order was chosen should be given in writing. The sequence is not arbitrary: sources of pain and infection first, then advancing decay, then gum treatment, with aesthetic and prosthetic work last.

Can you reach them in an emergency

  • Dental problems do not begin according to office hours
  • Abscess, fracture and trauma are the commonest night emergencies
  • Duty rosters are not always up to date
  • Reaching the clinic that did your treatment is the practical solution
  • Our clinic has no closing time, weekends and holidays included
  • Radiographs, root canal, drainage and urgent extraction are done at night

Treatments Provided at Our Clinic

Having every discipline in one place lets the patient progress without changing clinics and keeps the plan coherent.

Preventive and general dentistry

Examination, radiographs, scaling, fillings and root canal treatment form the base. These may look like small procedures, but this is exactly the stage that prevents most of the need for advanced treatment: catching decay at the enamel margin rather than at the pulp is the difference between one filling and a three-stage treatment.

Surgery, implants and prosthetics

Extractions, surgery for impacted wisdom teeth, implant placement, bone grafting and sinus lifting sit here, along with implant crowns, bridges, removable and fixed dentures and full-arch implant-supported solutions. Implant planning uses panoramic radiographs and, where needed, CT: bone height and width, sinus floor position and neighbouring structures are assessed in advance.

Aesthetics, orthodontics and paediatric dentistry

  • Teeth whitening and composite bonding
  • Veneers, zirconia crowns and smile design
  • Gum aesthetics and pink-aesthetic procedures
  • Fixed appliance treatment and clear aligners
  • Preventive care for children, fissure sealants and fluoride
  • Milk-tooth treatment and space maintainers

Which Parts of Antalya We Serve

The clinic is central, but our patients are not limited to the central districts.

The central districts

Muratpasa, Kepez and Konyaalti hold most of Antalya's population and reach us quickest, with Aksu and Dosemealti in the near ring. We have prepared separate pages for the main neighbourhoods of these districts.

Tourism areas and outlying districts

Patients from Alanya, Manavgat, Side, Belek, Kemer and Kas form a significant group — resident population, foreign residents and seasonal workers alike. For patients travelling from outlying districts the appointment is built around the distance: as much as possible is completed in one visit.

Patients from other cities and abroad

Patients coming from other cities and from abroad are planned differently: the biological waiting periods between stages — such as osseointegration of an implant — are explained from the outset and the number of visits is stated clearly. Records, radiographs and material details are provided in writing on request.

What Happens at the First Appointment

The first visit is an assessment rather than a treatment — and it is the most decisive step.

Examination and imaging

After listening to your complaint we examine the mouth and take a panoramic radiograph, adding bite-wings for the contact surfaces or a periapical view for a single root tip. Implant planning, impacted-tooth surgery and some cyst cases need a three-dimensional assessment, in which case a CT scan is requested.

The plan and its order of priority

  • 1. Sources of pain and infection — abscess, acute pulpitis, pericoronitis
  • 2. Advancing decay and leaking restorations
  • 3. Gum treatment and periodontal management
  • 4. Planning missing teeth — implants, bridges, dentures
  • 5. Orthodontic correction where needed
  • 6. Aesthetic work — whitening, veneers, smile design

Questions and the decision

You do not need to decide immediately. You are entitled to ask why a procedure is proposed, what the alternatives are and what happens if it is not done. Where several procedures are needed the plan can be staged, and we say clearly which stages can wait and which cannot.

Frequently Asked Questions 24

01

Is there a dental clinic open 24/7 in Antalya?

Yes. Our clinic in Muratpasa has no closing time — it is open 24 hours a day including weekends and public holidays, with radiographs, root canal treatment, abscess drainage and urgent extraction available at night.
02

Can I come without an appointment?

In an emergency yes. But calling as you set out helps twice over: you get first-aid guidance and preparation is complete when you arrive. For planned treatment an appointment is recommended.
03

What happens at the first examination?

We listen to your complaint, examine the mouth and take a panoramic radiograph, adding bite-wings or a periapical view if needed. The findings are then explained and a treatment plan is drawn up showing the order of procedures.
04

I am travelling from another city — how many visits will I need?

It depends on the planned treatment. Fillings, root canals and extractions can usually be completed in one visit; implants require a biological healing period that cannot be shortened. Tell us your situation in advance and we can say how many visits are needed and combine sessions.
05

Where exactly is the clinic?

Our clinic is on Sair Adem Dede Street in Muratpasa, a short journey from almost every neighbourhood of Muratpasa, Kepez and Konyaalti. For patients from Aksu, Dosemealti and the outlying districts we plan around the travel distance.
06

Can my child be treated at the same clinic?

Yes. Paediatric dentistry is provided in the same clinic — preventive care, sealants, fluoride, milk-tooth treatment and space maintainers. Family appointments can be booked consecutively on the same day.
07

How do I reach the clinic from Antalya?

Our clinic is on Sair Adem Dede Street in Muratpasa. For patients from Antalya the appointment is planned around the travel distance.
08

Which neighbourhoods do you serve in Antalya?

We see patients from every part of Antalya. Separate pages have been prepared for the main neighbourhoods, each covering how to reach the clinic from that area, what affects the journey time and the questions patients from there ask most often. The full list is in our area guide. If your neighbourhood has no page of its own, that changes nothing about being seen — the pages exist to present the information clearly, not as a condition of treatment.
09

How many visits will my treatment take coming from Antalya?

It depends on the treatment. Fillings, root canals and extractions usually finish in one visit; implants need a healing period that cannot be shortened.
10

Can I come at night from Antalya in an emergency?

Yes. The clinic is open at night, at weekends and on public holidays. Because the journey is a long one, we recommend calling before you set out: you are given first-aid guidance on the telephone, and preparation is completed while you travel so that treatment can begin as soon as you arrive. If there is spreading facial swelling, difficulty swallowing or a fever, do not delay the journey.
11

Why do you ask me so many questions on the phone? Can I not simply come in?

The questions are for preparation, not delay. We ask when the pain began, whether there is swelling, fever or difficulty swallowing, your medications and known conditions. This helps distinguish a dental emergency from a situation needing hospital emergency care, and lets the right clinician and materials be ready.
12

If I describe my symptoms on the phone, can you tell me which tooth is the problem?

No firm diagnosis is made by phone, only guidance. Dental pain often radiates, so a lower tooth may be felt in the ear and an upper tooth in the temple, and patients frequently point to the wrong tooth. Identifying the culprit needs examination and usually a radiograph.
13

If I photograph my mouth and send it, would that give you an idea before I come?

A photo can help but does not replace examination. Swelling, gum colour changes or a fractured edge may be visible, yet the depth of decay, infection at the root tip and bone condition are not. Images assist in triage, they do not determine the treatment plan.
14

Is there anything I should do at home before setting off at night?

Call the clinic and describe the problem briefly. If there is bleeding, keep firm pressure with clean gauze on the way. For swelling apply cold to the cheek, never heat. Bring your medication boxes and note when you last took a painkiller; if possible, come with someone.
15

What should I take with me when going for emergency dental care?

Bring your ID, the boxes or a written list of your regular medicines, any previous dental radiographs and your removable denture. Also bring a broken fragment or a crown that came off, since these can sometimes be re-attached. The name and dose of blood thinners or diabetes medicines matter most.
16

I had an X-ray taken six months ago elsewhere. Is there any point in bringing it?

Yes, bring it. An older image shows the previous state of the area, so the clinician can compare and see how fast the problem progressed, which is useful for root-tip infections and bone loss. A new image is usually still needed; a digital copy or phone photo is fine.
17

Can I go for emergency care alone at night, or must someone come with me?

Most people can come alone. A companion is advised if you have a known heart or diabetic condition, a history of fainting, if sedative medication will be used, or if bleeding is expected after the procedure. Children and elderly patients should always be accompanied.
18

Can I drive myself home after a night-time procedure?

After local anaesthesia alone most patients can drive, since it numbs the area without affecting consciousness. If sedation or a sedating medicine was given, or after longer surgery, do not drive and travel with someone. A painful, sleepless night also reduces alertness.
19

What happens step by step when I arrive? Is my tooth treated straight away?

Usually a short history comes first: duration of symptoms, medical conditions and medicines. Then an intra-oral examination and, when needed, a radiograph. Treatment is planned after that, because treating the right tooth correctly is rarely possible without an image. The aim is to control pain and infection.
20

Someone who arrived after me was seen first. How is the order decided?

Order depends on urgency, not arrival time. Swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, infection with high fever and an avulsed tooth are seen first, because minutes change the outcome. More stable complaints are seen after a short wait; tell the team if your condition changes.
21

They said we should take an X-ray right away. Is a rushed radiograph harmful?

Dental radiographs use a low dose limited to a small area, reduced further by digital sensors and shielded with a lead apron and thyroid collar. Without an image, root-tip infection, fractures or impacted teeth cannot be seen, so skipping it usually carries the greater risk. Always mention possible pregnancy.
22

I am pregnant and in severe pain. Would a dental X-ray harm the baby?

Dental radiographs can be taken during pregnancy when necessary; the beam is aimed at the jaw and not at the abdomen, and a lead apron with thyroid collar is used. Imaging is still limited to cases that change the treatment decision. Always state your pregnancy and week.
23

My treatment was not completed at the emergency visit. Why was it left unfinished?

Emergency care aims to control pain and infection; definitive treatment is a separate stage. An infected tooth is usually opened, cleaned and sealed temporarily, since closing it while infection persists can bring the pain back. Crowns, bridges and implants also need laboratory stages.
24

My pain is gone. When should I come back for the definitive treatment?

Pain relief does not mean the problem is solved; pressure drops, but the underlying condition remains. Definitive treatment is best planned within the following days. Temporary fillings wear down and an exposed canal can become re-infected, so keep the review date even if you feel fine.
