Go to the formWhat to Tell Us When You Book
Knowing these in advance lets us set aside the right amount of time and prepare properly, so your appointment is not cut short.
- What your complaint is, when it started and what makes it worse
- Whether it is urgent (pain, swelling, bleeding, a broken tooth) or planned treatment
- How many days you have, if you are travelling from another city or abroad
- The medicines you take — blood thinners and bone-density drugs in particular
- Chronic conditions: heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure
- Whether you are pregnant, and how many weeks
- If you are anxious about dental treatment — the approach is adjusted accordingly
- How many of you are coming as a family; appointments are scheduled consecutively
- If you are coming in a wheelchair or with a companion
- Whether you have earlier radiographs and treatment records
In an Emergency, Do Not Wait for an Appointment
For pain, swelling, bleeding, a broken tooth or trauma you are seen without an appointment, and the order is set by severity rather than arrival time. The clinic is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
If there is spreading facial swelling, difficulty swallowing or breathing, or a high fever, go to the nearest emergency department without stopping at a dental clinic.
