Why Call Before You Come?
A short phone call saves time for both sides. It does not mean booking — in an emergency you can come without an appointment.
What we ask on the phone
The questions are short: when the pain started, its severity, whether it came spontaneously, any swelling or fever, any impact, and your medication. This tells us whether you need to come and what to prepare.
Why calling first helps
Describing your situation by phone means preparations are made before you arrive — imaging and the treatment room are ready and you are seen without waiting. You also learn what to do on the way, which directly affects the outcome.
How to Reach the Clinic
The clinic is on Sair Adem Dede Street in central Muratpasa, quick to reach from most of the city.
The nearest neighbourhoods
Lara, Fener, Sirinyali, Guzeloba, Yesilbahce, Bahcelievler, Caglayan, Zerdalilik, Kizilarik, Demircikara and Kaleici are the closest, usually minutes away.
Coming from other districts
We regularly see patients from Liman, Hurma, Uncali, Arapsuyu and Altinkum in Konyaalti, Varsak, Emek, Ahatli and Fabrikalar in Kepez, and Altintas and Calkaya in Aksu. At night these journeys are much quicker.
If you are staying at a hotel
If you are staying at a hotel, call us before asking reception for a taxi: preparations are made before you arrive so there is no wait, and we can describe the most practical route — particularly useful at night.
What to Bring With You
A little preparation shortens your visit and in some cases directly affects the outcome.
Always
- Your medication list or boxes
- Details of chronic conditions (heart, diabetes, blood thinners, bone medication)
- Any previous X-rays
- Your allergy history
Depending on the situation
- The broken fragment — in milk or clean water
- A knocked-out tooth — in milk, not held by the root
- A crown or bridge that came off — in a clean box
- All pieces of a broken denture — including the smallest
- Your orthodontist's details if you are under treatment
What to Do Until You Reach the Clinic
Simple measures on the way can ease the pain and slow any deterioration.
What genuinely helps
Warm salt water reduces the bacterial load and gives relief, and trapped food should be removed gently with floss. Cold on the outside of the cheek limits swelling, and keeping the head raised eases throbbing — which is why pain worsens when lying down.
Common mistakes that cause harm
- Placing a painkiller against the gum, which causes a chemical burn
- Applying heat to swelling, which spreads the infection
- Trying to burst an abscess
- Starting antibiotics without prescription, which masks rather than solves
- Gluing a crown back with household adhesive
- Overloading the other side for days
About painkillers
A painkiller buys time but does not remove the cause. Note what you took and when — along with your regular medication, allergies and any blood thinners — as this directly affects anaesthesia and prescribing.
